IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE, DEATH OF A HERO! Was it who everyone expected? Were you surprised? Shocked? Horrified? Unaffected? Did you cheer? How precious are Megatron and Bumblebee? I was getting a lot of strong movie-esque vibes from this issue. I'm not typically a fan of Robots in Disguise, but this issue was absolutely brilliant! Has anyone figured out how Metalhawk came back to his senses? Does it have something to do with the ores? I hated his death originally, so this whole back to the old Metalhawk business is slightly irritating and feels forced. Contrary to popular opinion, I'm not actually too keen on Prowl teaming up with the Constructicons. On one hand it's adorable, but on the other it goes against Prowl's character, but I supposed that's the conflict... I'm looking forward to Prowl using them to his personal advantage in the future All I got out of Bumblebee's pre-death speech was, "We need an antagonist for the next season, so you can't kill Galvatrion!" It was sweet, though. Then he died. Moving on. Brainstorm's sparkache. This entire time I thought he was having labor pains... Turns out he was just giving birth to the Dead Universe team!?! Lastly, arms ripped off, sword through his chest... Skids, are you going to be okay??? Favorite quote: "Why univerzze hate Waspinator...?"

I loved the Bumblebee and Megatron moments. In the end, it was like Bumblebee was the anti-Whirl for Megatron.
Related: I love how Roberts/Barber are taking Megatron's "change of spark" one defining moment at a time and not rushing him but taking one big step. I could see it happening in the beginning of the event, as he was being tortured.
On the Prowl note, the Underbase theorized that Prowl could become the next supervillain, which I totally subscribe to. He's lost all of his friends, he's alienated himself, he only has the Constructions, and he doesn't realize when enough is enough in terms of the "greater good". But I think a full analysis on that should be left to a different thread.
PS – I totally called it was gonna be Bee, but not that he was going to be Meg's going-good motivator.
